This home, originally a 1973 split level, has been transformed and nearly doubled in size.  The primary objectives of the new owners were to create spaces suitable for one level living and gracious entertaining while retaining ample separate space for visitors.  Nearly 3,000 square feet of finished area plus a 3 car garage were added in fulfillment of these goals.

The Main Level Master Suite was placed at a 30 degree angle to the original to add visual interest as well as provide expanded views of the 2.8 acre property.  The ceiling height was raised to 11’ for the Conservatory, Entry and Great Room and a large new Kitchen was placed at the rear.  Exterior materials meld a new stone base with stucco above and accents using white brick salvaged from the original construction.  Windows, exterior doors, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems were all replaced and upgraded to meet the new needs and improve operating efficiency.
